Kelly has a rare connective tissue disease called ehlers-danlos syndrome. She is an Ambassador for the Arkansas Children’s Foundation, helping raise funds and awareness for the hospital that helped to diagnose and currently helps her manage her illness. Her real passion is for public speaking and educating others about rare diseases and pediatric illness. In addition to being an ambassador, she’s a member of the Arkansas Rare Action Network through NORD and will be joining as their community education liaison in January. She is also a Young Adult Rare Representative through the EveryLife Foundation for Rare Disease’s RDLA program. She's in college to work on pre-nursing/CNA classes.
