About this event

Walk For Life is a suicide prevention and mental health awareness event in Naperville, Illinois, at the Alive Center. Our goal is to provide local teens with mental health resources they may not know about while having fun!

Educate + Talk:

Vendors, resources, talks, and educational activities will be available for participants to engage with including:

Ask the Doctor Live Sessions for Parents and Teens

Lived Experience Talks

Ally Training in Self-Care, Peer Support and Advocacy

American Foundation of Suicide Prevention Talk

Saves Lives

Mental Health First Aid Introduction

Walk + Explore:

 Various physical activities that promote positive mental health will be available to try. Join the walk to raise mental health and suicide prevention awareness. Other activities include:

Guided meditations to clear the mind

Yoga practices to stretch the body and ease the mind

Adventure activities such as slack line, archery and various challenges

Community Awareness Walk through downtown Naperville

Celebrate: Music performance by Tres Mustache to conclude the night, have fun, and celebrate positive mental health and the value of life. Other celebration activities include:

Slam Poetry Session

Music and Dancing

Food Trucks

Bounce House

Interaction with Therapy Dogs

Art Therapy Activities

Wall of Support Participation

COST: FREE REGISTRATION | $20 FOR T-SHIRT
