About this event

September is National Suicide Prevention Month, and this episode of Ask Dr. Jill will showcase the suicide research of AFSP along with a discussion around those findings including:

  • Suicide is related to brain functions that affect decision-making and behavioral control
  • No one takes their life for a single reason
  • If someone can get through the intense, and short, moment of active suicidal crisis, chances are they will not die by suicide

Viewers are encouraged to read AFSP's Top 10 List of Research Findings and send in questions when you RSVP that can be answered during the episode.
